Overview page

The overview page displays a summary and total balance for the current period.

Selection of the current period

The current time period is displayed at the top of the page. In most cases, it makes sense to look at your finances on a monthly basis. Many regular expenses such as insurance, rent, memberships, etc. are paid monthly and the salary as essential income is usually received every month. The app therefore also uses a monthly display in the default settings.

You can switch to the previous or next period using the arrows next to the date. Tapping the date opens a menu in which you can switch between weekly, monthly and annual viewing.

Summary of categories

All expenses and income for the current period are summarized here based on their category and sorted in descending order by the total balance.

For each category, a progress bar shows the ratio of the values. For example, if twice as much was spent in the "Food" category as in the "Clothing" category, the progress bar for "Food" is also twice as long. This allows for a quick comparison without having to read the exact values.

By tapping on a category entry you get to the page with the booking list. All bookings are displayed here in detail and you can see in detail what was spent in this category.

Add entries

By tapping the plus button at the bottom of the page, you start entering a new entry.

The app settings are accessed by tapping the gear icon at the top of the page.
